芸術系の教育機関で外国語としての英語を学習する状況に最適な芸術基盤の英語教育プロジェクト

　本論文は、アートに基盤を置く教授案が、日本人大学生を対象にして外国語としての英語を教える過程において適切であり、適合したものであるという筆者の理論を具体化することを目的としている。日本の大学のアート系で学ぶ英語学習者のために、筆者は上述の理論を次の2点で実証することを狙っている:第1の点として、本論の適切さを裏付ける理論的根拠を打ち立てる;第2点として、第2言語習得と脳科学および文化的要素との関連性を探る。

The use of art-based projects in the teaching of English as a foreign language (EFL) with specific reference to Japanese learners attending art institutions

　This paper aims to substantiate the authour's thesis that art-based projects are both appropriate and relevant vehicles to engage in the process of teaching EFL to Japanese university students. With specific regard to student learners attending art universities in Japan, the author aims to validate the above hypothesis, by first establishing a rationale behind this conjecture and furthermore by correlating second language acquisition with neurological science and cultural appropriation.
